Check out the new promotion ADS Security rolled out featuring Matt as your friendly neighborhood technician! Not only does he lead the commercial, he also acts as it’s voice over. In addition, Matt is featured on the company’s website, social media pages, and several other marketing materials.
The playful song is simply about the fun of being flirtatious (and how Matt gets nervous around pretty women), and the video, directed by Logen Christopher, takes place at a summertime pool party set against a gorgeous Nashville skyline.

Lessons in Accidental Magic, the award-winning 48 Hour Film by Motke Dapp, Drive Media House and a crew of around 40 people, has officially been selected to screen at the Nashville Film Festival! Magic is about Liam (Matt), who is enamored with a girl he frequently sees at dinner parties. In an attempt to win her heart, Liam teaches himself to cook from a cookbook he finds at an unusual library. The recipes are unorthodox and the results are quite… unexpected.
Matt is set to star in the upcoming short film Shaken Not Stirred, written and directed by Roxanne Nawrot (WTF?! Web Series). Matt plays Michael, a man looking for a surrogate mother with his partner Larry. Michael is unaware that Larry is hiding a secret that could potentially damage not only their relationship, but also his dream for starting a family with the one he truly loves.
In his second year participating in the 48 Hour Film Project, Matt was voted Best Actor in the Cincinnati competition for his role as Liam in Lessons In Accidental Magic! The film also took home 11 more awards, including Best Film, meaning it will move on to compete at Filmapalooza 2017.
This is also Matt’s second collaboration with director Motke Dapp. This year they travelled to Cincinnati (instead of staying in Nashville), and joined forces with Drive Media House and a crew of around 40 people. Last year the short film, Everyday Yeti won Nashville’s top prize in the 48 Hour Film Festival. It then proceeded to receive strong accolades at Filmapalooza in Atlanta (including a Best Actor nomination for Matt), and was subsequently screened at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

That’s a wrap!
Last week, Matt and director Motke Dapp (participating in his ninth 48 Hour Film Project) travelled to Cincinnati to make a seven-minute short film, from concept to completion, in just two days. This year they joined forces with Drive Media House and a crew of around 40 to create a spellbinding tale entitled Lessons in Accidental Magic after drawing the genre “fantasy.”
Motke Dapp’s visionary romantic comedy, Everyday Yeti, came in second runner up at this year’s Nashville Film Festival in the Tennessee Horizon Audience Award category. The top prize went to The Unbeliever, starring Casey Fuller who plays Monroe in Everyday Yeti.
After winning Nashville’s top prize in the 48 Hour Film Festival, Yeti went on to receive strong accolades at Filmapalooza in Atlanta, and will subsequently be screened at the Cannes Film Festival in May.
