Matt is one of nine founding members of The Varsity, a new improv troupe comprised of Third Coast Training Center students, that will make its debut at the Third Coast Improv Festival, taking place November 2 – 4 in Nashville, TN.
Last December, Matt flew to Las Vegas to shoot an internal video for Zappos about their core values and what meaning those bring to people’s lives. More a short film than an “industrial,” the video follows a family through three generations, and showcases Matt’s vulnerability as a new father.
Check out the new promotion ADS Security rolled out featuring Matt as your friendly neighborhood technician! Not only does he lead the commercial, he also acts as it’s voice over. In addition, Matt is featured on the company’s website, social media pages, and several other marketing materials.
Rising star Lena Stone recently released her debut single Nervous in February, and today CMT debuted the launch of the music video starring Matt as the male lead and Lena’s love interest.
The playful song is simply about the fun of being flirtatious (and how Matt gets nervous around pretty women), and the video, directed by Logen Christopher, takes place at a summertime pool party set against a gorgeous Nashville skyline.

Shaken not Stirred, written and directed by Roxanne Nawrot (Producer of the WTF?! Web Series), tells the story – based on real-life events – of Larry (David Dittmore) and Michael (Matt), a couple searching for a surrogate to bear their child. Michael is unaware that Larry is hiding a secret that could not only prevent them from starting a family, but also end their relationship. However, Michael has a secret of his own.
Pieces tells the story of two artists, Allison Turner (Tori Simpson, Shaken not Stirred) and Tom Maxis (Matt), an art couple who clash on their most recent collaboration. Allison is a contemporary photographer trying to get their work noticed, while Tom is a pretentious, avant-garde visual artist who wants the work to speak for itself. As tensions rise, public displays of outrage and sabotage tear the couple apart. The bigger issue, however, is that the couple is up for a joint fellowship at the Nashville Museum of Art.
